Vibration compliance, proven tool by tool.
DPA Technologies tests handheld power tools on site across the UK — measuring real vibration levels, flagging tools that put operators at risk, and issuing the summaries and certificates that keep every site in your group compliant with the Control of Vibration at Work Regulations 2005.

Test. Flag. Certify.
One visit gives you a complete, current picture of vibration risk across your workshop — and the documentation to prove it.
Test on site
Every handheld power tool measured in situ — sanders, grinders, polishers, drills and more — with calibrated vibration instruments and minimal disruption to a working workshop.
Flag the risks
Tools outside safe limits are identified clearly, so at-risk equipment can be repaired, replaced or retired — before it harms an operator or your compliance record.
Certify & document
Per-tool electronic data recorded to BS EN ISO 5349-2:2002, a clear compliance summary for the site, and certificates — the documented evidence a vibration risk assessment demands.
From booking to certificate
Book a visit
Tell us the site, the approximate tool count and any deadlines. We schedule around your workshop, not the other way round.
We test on site
Each tool is measured in use, identified and recorded. Most sites are completed in a single visit.
You get the evidence
Per-tool readings, flagged items needing action, a site compliance summary and certificates — dealer-group clients also access records through our secure client portal.
Stay compliant
Planned re-test cycles keep records current as tools age, are repaired or are replaced — so the next audit is a formality.
HAVS is permanent. Your duty is clear.
Hand-arm vibration syndrome — including vibration white finger — is an irreversible condition caused by regular use of high-vibration hand tools such as sanders, grinders and disc cutters. The Control of Vibration at Work Regulations 2005 require employers to assess vibration risk, control exposure and keep health surveillance in place.
A documented testing and risk-assessment programme protects your people first — and protects the business when insurers, auditors or a courtroom ask for the evidence. Doing nothing is not an option.
Daily exposure, A(8): action required above 2.5 m/s²; 5.0 m/s² must never be exceeded. We measure where every tool really sits.
One programme. Every site. One source of truth.
Multi-site groups are our specialty: one consistent testing standard across every workshop, scheduled around your sites — with reports, certificates and retest schedules for the whole group in one secure portal your managers already know how to use.
